Set within the claustrophobic confines of a holiday cottage, two couples find themselves sharing intimacy notes when Sara begins to question the depth of her experiences after witnessing a friend’s orgasm.
A hyper-saturated fever-dream, shot in 16mm, as Sara’s succumbs to sensorial overload, we see her unravelling at the hands of the hidden subtext in the world around her. Exploring her insecurities with humour and photographic intensity, the film offers a comedic observation on the downfalls of comparisons made from a distance when self-realization stands as the ultimate goal.
